The City of Calgary offers a variety of movement and dance classes for people of all ages and abilities. We are known for having qualified instructors, exciting content, excellent facilities and commitment to outstanding customer service. Courses are offered year-round at the Wildflower Arts Centre, Southland and Village Square Leisure Centres, and select City of Calgary Aquatic and Fitness Centres.

Preschool:
Children 3-5 years can experience ballet, exploration and movement. These programs help children build physical confidence in an encouraging atmosphere.

Children:
School age children 6 to 12 years are exposed to drama, funk, tap dancing, hip-hop, Irish Dance, Jazz, and Ballet. These diverse classes will introduce children to the contemporary, traditional and cultural dance forms.

Youth:
A variety of classes are available for youth from Breakdancing to Hip-hop. In these classes youth will be introduced to the foundations of these popular dance styles.  Whether you are an experienced dancer to just learning, all are welcome!
 
Adult:
Adults can enjoy a wide variety of dance forms including African, Ballet, Ballroom, Belly dance, Country western dance for couples, Irish, Hip-hop, Swing and Tango. Beginner and intermediate classes are offered.

Family:
Big & Little Steps together - Parent & Tots can enjoy an introduction to dance as a family.
