Rapid Access Paramedics

For special events Emergency Medical Services (EMS) operates advanced life support (ALS) equipped mountain bike teams. These are used in areas where access my be restricted for regular transport units. The bikes are most commonly used in parks and during special events or parades. The mountain bikes are equipped with saddle bags which can carry all of the necessary ALS equipment.
